I had 3 of these bikes. This is the last one. If it doesn't sell i will keep it. I'm just looking to make some room in my garage. It grabs attention when i have it outside. They imported lightweight bikes from there in the 60's and 70's to compete with the jap invasion. The sprint bikes were very successful starting at 250 cc, then 350. I had two of them back then, plus a third recently. Some people called the other smaller bikes sprints, incorrectly. As a kid i started with a harley 50cc m50 model, and i rode the hell out of it. The bad: these bikes can be finicky. I'm not a real mechanic so my abilities are limited. I just rode it around the block and it ran okay until about half way around. It lost power and died twice before i got home. I suspect a gummy carburetor because it sits a lot. It started right up each time and by using the choke the rpm's went up right away. I took it to jim's harley in ohio last year and a great guy named matt worked on it. He told me he had it running around town with no problems and it ran great. This bike does not come with mirrors, although they can be purchased and put in place with no problems. I just noticed the headlight and tail light were not working, although the brake light does work. The lights were working last summer. The bike does show some age and wear and tear. It has an oil tank but like most owners i just mix the oil and gas and put it in the gas tank. The good: i have a clear illinois title in my name. I had it licensed and insured years ago for street riding around the neighborhood. I can only assume it's correct. Parts are still available for these models on various sites and locations. The engine was sent to sonny's motorcycle repair in lowell massachusetts maybe ten years ago. He rebuilt it and it has extremely little use on it since then. He specializes in the smaller harley bikes. The majority of these mini bikes have dents or dimples in the gas tank from the handle bars turning into the tank. Mine does not have that. As i said, they can be finicky. Local pick-up only, no shipping.

This is a custom-designed and upgraded Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic with only 18,164 miles. A few years ago, the smaller original tank was replaced with a new larger tank in raw steel with the American flag design shown. Coolest of all, my grandfather's official star from his years as Police and Fire Commissioner in the 1950s is mounted to the engine
